On Imagination: Ecotones

Ecotones are the areas between two adjacent ecosystems. Biological ecotones have characteristics and organisms from otherwise divergent systems, so they are rich in biodiversity. They are "places of danger and opportunity". Ecotones are the nuanced, unnameable mixes at the center of the color wheel. My imagination lives in the ecotones of my experiences. Context switches set my mind into motion. My perception is tweened with make-believe, as I intuitively seek narrative - a through line - a reason.
